We build software
that writes software
on the fly.

1ln is an independent software studio. We design systems where the program isn't fixed at compile time — it's generated, assembled and rewritten while it runs. From AI-authored audio plugins to visual node workstations, we make tools that build the next layer for you.

The builder

Our idea, live: describe software and watch it get written and run.

The 1ln Builder is a chat where you describe an app, tool, toy or visualization in plain language. An AI writes a complete, self-contained program and runs it instantly in a live, sandboxed preview — then you keep talking to refine it. It's the same engine idea behind VibePlugin: the program isn't fixed in advance, it's generated on the fly.

VibePlugin

VST3 · AI · WASM

Two VST3 audio plugins whose DSP and interface are written by an AI at runtime. Generated AssemblyScript is compiled to WebAssembly and executed under wasmtime, with an HTML GUI rendered in a WebView — so the instrument literally rebuilds itself on demand.

Synflow

Web Audio · Node graph

A browser-based, node-graph workstation for interactive audio, MIDI and control flows. Patch oscillators, filters, FX, sequencers and flow-event processors together to prototype sound entirely in the browser — a modular synth feel with a visual editor.

How we think

Generative systems, real engineering underneath.

01

Software on the fly

Instead of shipping one fixed program, we build engines that generate, compile and run code at runtime — guided by AI and by the user's intent.

02

Audio & creative tools

Deep roots in DSP, Web Audio and plugin formats. We turn hard real-time problems into tools people actually enjoy using.

03

Open by default

Much of what we make is open source. We believe the tools that build software should be inspectable, hackable and shared.

Let's build something that builds itself.
